Philosophy

I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. A safe environment fosters child development activities that allow children to explore and grow through productive play, music, and literature. At The Sprouting Acorn, children will engage in hands-on learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate for their age. I believe that positive reinforcement is crucial for children to develop self-esteem. They need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, I believe that children need to have fun!

At The Sprouting Acorn, I offer days packed full of activities that enhance early childhood education. All of these activities contribute to the social and academic development of children. They learn best when they are having fun! I tailor the lessons to each child's unique learning style. The children enjoy the hands-on activities that The Sprouting Acorn provides daily!

Our activities include: Singing, Dance, Reading, Outdoor play, Counting, Social development, Story time, Games, Circle time, Cooking, Letter recognition, Arts & Crafts, and large and fine motor skill development.
